Primal Performance and Fitness

Primal fitness under development with bare floor and cable management

Scope of Work

  • A planning permit is required to use and develop land for a leisure and recreation facility (including fitness centre) under the provision of the Commercial Zone. As there is no specific requirement for car parking in this instance justification for the existing number of parking spaces is required.
  • This planning application was seeking a "change of use". Formally standard retail / service industry. There is a need to assess the interface with adjoining uses, are residential uses nearby, will traffic and car parking be an issue. What advertising signage is proposed? Will any public land be affected? Is the use appropriate in this location? What will be the hours of operation? Involvement in process
  • Discuss with Client the requirements. Ascertain the goals and aspirations of the new business. How do we make that fit in with Council requirements/regulations
  • Discuss project with Council.
